Warrior Within

The Timeless Inspiration of Musashi

Musashi used the study and analysis of martial arts as a means for mental and physical alignment.

The arts taught him a heightened level of focus, and increased ability to direct energy and efficiently disposing of any conflict coming his way.

This was not achieved through physical power alone. Rather, his study of mind and approach of the oncoming antagonist and by responding in his unique way, resulted in Musashi being hailed a victor in all battles.

This intuitive response to conflict allows greater speed and wisdom in any situation, and was the difference between success and failure for Musashi.

This ability is paramount in everyday life as well as our work.

Traditional Japanese Principles to Combat Conflict Effectively and Efficiently

Since the 17th Century, a famous Japanese samurai swordsman Miyamoto Musashi has changed the face of corporate life world wide. His principles of success in Martial Arts deal with aggression in many ways.

These principles use techniques for strategy and conflict resolution, which ultimately contribute to a more effective use in this highly competitive world.

Through the application of traditional Musashi wisdom, our Warrior Within Workshop teaches how to identify the signs of potential or actual conflict.

More importantly, we provide solutions to diffuse conflict and restore harmony effectively and efficiently.

ABOUT THIS SEMINAR :

Topics include: examination of the stages of escalation and the factors in the workplace that give rise to conflict; and the communication to neutralise conflict at various stages utilising appropriate timing and negotiation skills.

Duration: 4 hours. Alternatively, the workshop can be combined with other related teachings and delivered in a retreat environment.

N.B. For those wanting to develop further, we also offer advanced concepts of warrior tactics involving Japanese swordsmanship and combat with practical applications using heavily padded kendo armour and bamboo swords to experience martial principles under pressure.
As with all our other teachings, we pride ourselves on delivery in a professional and caring way.
